A variety of studies show that being grateful in your daily life yields positive results and makes you feel happier each day. There is a difference between being thankful and being grateful. Having a grateful attitude means having an appreciation of what we have in life and where we are in life, rather than focusing on what's missing. Being grateful cultivates a fresh, positive perspective on life. It is a key part of improving our mental wellbeing and happiness, as it means being content with ourselves. It also supports our self esteem and self confidence. I know that you are wondering, how can I be more grateful?

One of these ways is to begin writing in a gratitude journal and creating daily habits of writing something down each day. While this may seem like a lot of work, these things can be small and seem insignificant, such as a cup of coffee in the morning or making the bus on the way to work or school. At the end of your day, you can also tell someone 3 things that happened which made you grateful. Another way to have a grateful attitude is acknowledging other important people in your life and thanking them for supporting you.
